WAEC to release May/June 2016 WASSCE results today

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has revealed that it would release the May/June 2015–2016 results of the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) on Friday, August 5, 2016.

The May/June West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) was taken by more than 1,555,000 candidates.

The Head of National Office (HNO) of WAEC, Mr. Olutise I. Adenipekun, according to the acting Head Public Affairs, Mr. D. G. Ojijeogu, would announce the release of May/June 2016 WASSCE at a media briefing.

The release of the May/June 2016 WASSCE would increase the chances of candidates in using the results for the on-going university admission exercise, according to Mr. Olutise, who made the announcement during a media briefing at the council head office Yaba on Thursday..
