China
Minecraft is officially coming to China
Minecraft is officially launching in China. This post from Erik Crouch tells you how they are going to make their entrance. In fact, Minecraft’s mobile version has been doing quite well in China for some time already, but since the developer Mojang wants to run the online PC version in China, they must partner with a domestic publisher having the necessary permits, even if it means handing over its initial success of the mobile version as part of the deal. I’m curious to know how this plays out.

Google announced at I/O that it has now driven more than 2 billion app installs, the same number that facebook announced in April, thanks to its Universal App Campaign tool, which has just been expanded from Android-only to also service iOS.
