Some time back Deepinder Goyal put out a role https://x.com/deepigoyal/status/1859215826425159991

There was a lot of furore and fake faffers not in the arena ofcourse bashed their heads talking about ‘entitlement of rich boy’ while themselves having done nothing.

Well there comes a point in doing when you realise it all boils down to how well you orchestrate the execution. I’ve got 4 businesses in buildup mode and I’ve got couple of other initiatives on the side. I’m good orchestrator myself but now I’m thinking of spawning myself into a couple of me to go hard behind it. So here’s the role for anybody who thinks he can do it.

What you’re gonna be paid will be decided after I interact with you but it’s going to be a lot for a kid that’s just starting. And I want just that. An aggressive young person.

This is not just a job; it’s a crash course in high-stakes operational warfare. You’ll be in the trenches with me, ensuring that my vision isn’t just talked about but executed with brutal precision. Every project, every initiative, every task in this company lives or dies by its execution — and you will own that execution. Think of yourself as the conductor of a symphony where every note must hit on time, or the whole performance collapses.

If you’re looking for an easy ride, this isn’t it. If you want to see how empires are built from the inside out, welcome aboard. Here’s what I expect:

Your Mission

Own the Machine:

  • Every project, every roadmap, every task runs through you. You’ll build and maintain roadmaps in JIRA, set sprints, track releases, and smash through obstacles like a battering ram.
  • Break down chaos into order. Divide projects into initiatives, tasks, and microtasks so finely detailed that no one has an excuse for failure.
  • Dependencies? Your job is to see them before anyone else does — and eliminate them before they become a problem.

Track Everything Relentlessly:

  • Real-time dashboards. Gantt charts. Task tickets. You’ll track every project, every milestone, every metric, down to the smallest detail.
  • If someone drops the ball, I want to know about it yesterday. If there’s a bottleneck, I expect you to call me before it even forms.

Feedback Loops:

  • Constant feedback is the lifeblood of progress. You’ll be in the trenches with the teams, constantly reviewing progress and pushing them harder.
  • Your job isn’t to be popular. Your job is to get results.
  • Reports? Make them concise, actionable, and brutally honest. I don’t want fluff — I want facts and solutions.

Be the Guardian of Alignment:

  • Everything we do must align with the mission, the purpose, and the strategy. If you see something veering off-course, you will pull it back in line.
  • Hold teams accountable to their deadlines. If someone is slow, lazy, or confused, you will make them faster, sharper, and aligned — or you’ll escalate.

Operate at Elon Speed:

  • This is not a 9-to-5 role. This is an all-in, burn-the-boats, leave-no-survivors mentality. We move fast, and we don’t tolerate inefficiency or hesitation.
  • Meetings will be quick, focused, and to the point. Workflows will be seamless. Progress will be tracked down to the last second.

Be the Signal in the Noise:

  • This company is a massive machine with countless moving parts. Your job is to ensure that nothing slips through the cracks.
  • Teams will rely on you to connect the dots and bridge the gaps between ideas and action.

What Success Looks Like

  • Projects delivered ahead of schedule, under budget, and with precision.
  • Teams that are focused, accountable, and relentless.
  • Roadmaps, tasks, and dependencies tracked with military precision.
  • Misalignments identified early and fixed before they become problems.
  • Reports that cut through the noise and give me the insights I need to make big decisions.

Tools and Expectations

  • JIRA will be your command center. Every roadmap, sprint, and task lives there — and you will make it sing.
  • Dashboards and Gantt Charts: These aren’t pretty visuals; they’re weapons for controlling chaos. Master them.
  • Constant Vigilance: If something isn’t moving, I want to know why. If someone isn’t performing, you will handle it.
  • Extreme Ownership: The buck stops with you. No excuses, no passing the blame.

This is a proving ground, not a career path. If you rise to the challenge, you’ll learn more in six months here than most people do in six years. But if you fail, there’s the door. We don’t have time for mediocrity.

Still in? Good. Let’s get to work.
