Natalie Achonwa

Natalie Achonwa currently plays basketball for the Indiana Fever, she is heading into her third season playing professional basketball after a decorated college career at Notre Dame.

At Notre Dame, Achonwa helped lead her team to three NCAA tournament finals appearances. Achonwa also served as team captain.

Achonwa cherished her time spent at Notre Dame.

“The best part about my time at ND was the lifetime relationships I made. Some of my best friends I played with and went to school with at ND,” Achonwa said.

The post player is full of ambition and excitement for the upcoming WNBA season as she gears up for her third go round.

“For this upcoming WNBA season I want to help our Indiana Fever tam get back to being a playoff caliber team and ultimately win a championship,” she said.

Achonwa also participates in a South Korean professional league called WKBL. The Notre Dame graduate plays in the league while the WNBA is in offeason.

Achonwa is a player to watch for this upcoming season and will have a huge impact on the success of the Indiana Fever.
