There is tremendous energy building in the US leading up to the midterm elections this November and, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum, it is inspiring to see a record number of female candidates.

Wogrammer’s mission to showcase women engineers and celebrate diversity extends to public service as well. We are launching a new series to bring you the stories of women engineers who are running for office at all levels — local, state, senate, and gubernatorial — across a range of political parties.

What inspired them to run? What will they focus on during the election and how has their career in tech equipped them to take on the issues that matter most to the American people? We will dive into those details and more.

Are you or is someone you know a current or former engineer running for elected office this year? We would like to share your story with the wogrammer community!
