Monday, April 3rd

Student Success Series

Having trouble dealing with stress or time management? There will be a stress management workshop at 10 a.m. and a time management workshop at 11 a.m. at the Pennington Student Achievement Center in room 114.

ASUN PackFIT Health Week

Grab some food and meet with local health professionals at the Knowledge Center lawn from 10–2 p.m.

Tuesday, April 4th

Fake News Panel

Tired of fake news and want to know how to stop it? Join the Reynolds School of Journalism faculty for a panel discussion on why fake news exists and how to avoid it. Panelists will also discuss the impact news has had in the current media environment. This event will take place from 12 p.m.— 1 p.m. at the Knowledge Center Rotunda.

Guest Speaker- Anthony Ervin

Forget the beauty and come meet a beast, namely, Anthony Ervin, a 4-time Olympic medalist and former fastest person on the planet. Ervin will be giving a lecture in the Milt Glick Ballrooms from 7- 9 p.m.

Thursday, April 6th

Meet a Nevada Money Mentor

As college students, money can be tight. Stop by the JCSU Plaza on Thursday from 1–3 p.m. to meet a Nevada Money Mentor. You can chat about your personal financial concerns, debt management, and how to budget your financial aid. Remember Wolf Pack- stay woke, not broke.

Pizza with the President

Come to the Blind Onion from 1:30-3 p.m. to chat with President Marc Johnson and discuss any questions or concerns you have about the university. Pizza is free!

Canvas Paint Night

If you love to paint and want to create your own beautiful masterpiece, the Canvas Junkies will be hosting a Canvas Paint Night on the 2nd floor of the Joe Crowley Student Union. There will be two sessions, one beginning at 7 p.m. and the other beginning at 10 p.m. Be sure to sign up as spots are limited.

Reno Hackathon 2017

The 5th Annual Reno Hackathon is coming on April 15th-April 16th at the Knowledge Center. The Reno Hackathon is a 24-hr. app development competition that brings together students, developers, and entrepreneurs. The Hackathon begins at noon on Saturday, April 15th and lasts until noon on Sunday, April 16th. If you are interested, sign up on the Reno Hackathon Facebook page.
