January [19] Wrap-Up: Happy Birthday, Wolfpack Digital
A new year calls for novel things. Netherless, we don’t want to put the old wine into new bottles, but this tradition is one we intend to keep for a long time. At the end of each month, we will come up with the highest points and stories that happened between the four walls of our creative agency. It’s an easy way to keep you informed with what the Pack is up to besides crafting mobile and web apps. Shall we?
Back to the office
The beginning of this month was dominated by the after holidays mood. We gathered all our thoughts towards setting new goals, working on that list of resolutions, and coming up with new strategies to rock the industry. At once an avalanche of fresh ideas just hit us.
Nothing beats pen and paper. — Andreea Pop
(except for the two articles written on Medium about one of our internal projects Medusa — the first meditation app in Romanian and a tutorial written by Florin Ionce about the FAE CMS tool. We’ll leave them here in case you haven’t got the chance to read them. 👏🏻
Don’t want to share any heavy spoilers, but make sure to follow us on the channels that you like spending your time on so you won’t miss a thing because new interesting stuff is coming up soon.

4 years of Wolfpack Digital
Turn on your party mood cause the end of January marks the 4 years since the Wolfpack Digital was established by Georgina Lupu. Nothing happened overnight, but it was all worth it in the end and here we are celebrating the 4 year company anniversary.
A small group of developers that started building apps motivated by the passion for technology, today is a Mobile and Web Development Agency with 40 enthusiastic developers on board who are building value-adding projects across several industries.
The secret ingredient to the success of our journey hides in the mantra of working as one and serving people around us: clients, friends, and communities we are part of and support.
If you’ve been following us, you might already know by now how much we love throwing themed parties and adding a touch of craze to anything we do. For this special occasion, we spoiled ourselves with a fruit bar and a posh chocolate fountain.
The Wolves are no longer cubs and we are ready to step into a new chapter and continue building successful digital products! — Georgina Lupu Florian, Wolfpack Digital CEO
Hosting the Women in Tech MeetUp: Roles in IT- Who does what?
Talking about communities, at the very end of the month, we hosted the Women in Tech MeetUp where we talked about the tech roles in IT and who is doing what within teams.
Here are the 5 speakers that helped us understand the visible and invisible layers of the following tech roles.
- Software developer — Camelia Benchea;
- QA — Ioana Chiorean
- Designer at Wolfpack Digital — Mirona Filip :
- DevOps — Flavia Borodi;
- Software Architect — Viorel Vesa.
Follow the Women in Tech Facebook Page and keep an eye on the MeetUp group for updates and future events, especially the second part of the “Tech Roles in IT” meetup where we will dive into the management positions and responsibilities. Can’t wait to see you!
WD Developers born in January
This month was not only about Wolfpack Digital’s birthday but also we celebrated 3 of our developers — Dan, Bogdan, and the mysterious figure behind the mask.
Happy Birthday, you genius minds! May your life be a piece of cake.
