Wolfpack Digital February [19] Wrap-Up: Short month, Big achievements
An old saying says that if it thunders in February, it will freeze in April. We say that if you develop apps in February, you will develop apps in April as well. You’ve read that right! There are so many things to improve and so much innovation to add to our daily lives that the Wolfpack Digital team is ready to code all year long. Let’s see all the things that go into our memory box for this month.
Tech Events we decided to join
A new day, a new tech event. Thank you, Universe, for that! Or, perhaps, to be more specific, we should give credit to the local startup community and all the passionate IT ambassadors from Cluj-Napoca for organizing meaningful events for our industry.
This month our CEO, Gina Lupu was invited by Startup Weekend Cluj to join the How To Build A Product / SWCluj2019 panel as a speaker. Along with other experts, Gina shared some of the tricks and tips on how to build and manage products.
Since we are a cross-functional team, our colleagues couldn’t have missed the “Designing Sprints” event. Răzvan aka Ciubster, one of our creative and fun designers, was lucky enough to win the “Sprint: How to Solve Big Problems and Test New Ideas in Just Five Days” book by Jake Knapp. Thumbs up! Can’t wait to see how this will mirror on your work.
A team of brave wolves embarked on the journey to solve the Google Hash Code challenge during the Online Qualification Round.💡Guess what? Pizza and fun were involved too.
Good job to Florin, Robi, Emil, and Victor for accepting the challenge! Also, congrats to all the teams from Romania for scoring 3rd worldwide.

Talent Map IT: Top Strongest Employers in Cluj-Napoca
The highlight of the month was the announcement we got from Brainspotting. Wolfpack Digital is on the list of top employers from Cluj-Napoca.
We are grateful for being mentioned as one of the Strongest IT Employers from Cluj-Napoca.
This is extremely important for us because that means we are on the right path of building an environment where human connections, growth and strong values matter the most.

A very nice trend that can be seen in the tech industry is the women empowerment and how tech events encourage them to join as attendees, speakers and why not, mentors. One of our articles was shared by Codecamp Conference on their blog.
We are glad to see that things are starting to change and such topics get the attention they deserve.

This month we had a Mango Moment about the importance of sleep held by Adi, our CTO, who knows what a huge difference it makes to get the right amount of sleep.
We might be geeks who love sciences, enjoy reading books and are constantly expanding their knowledge, but deep down there’s a rebel side that loves riding motorcycles, bikes, playing football, hiking or running.
A few days ago, the Okami team went bowling and playing billiard. The hardest challenge was of course to pick nicknames.
On the other hand, the Amarok team deared to put all their skills into a room escaping game at Museum. 2 rooms in less than 60 minutes? Yes, please! It was a piece of cake. 🍰
Talking about cake, we have two Wolves born in February. Happy Birthday to Attila and Răzvan! By the way, has anyone seen his glasses?
