What is a neural net exactly?
If you haven’t been living under a rock for the past few years, you’ve likely heard the terms “Machine Learning,” “Deep Learning” and “Neural Nets.” You might have even heard how neural nets are being used in self-driving cars, outsmarting humans at games, and identifying objects in images.
But what are neural nets? How do they work exactly? No clue? Or are you a programmer knee-deep in nets and have trouble explaining to people what you do or why it matters?
Check out the video below for a primer on how neural nets function, how they are (and are not) like human brains, and even how you can start playing around with them and building your own.
