Perks of Being a Woloxer

Since I started working at Wolox, a little over three years ago, there was something that really stuck with me: the care and concern for the well-being of each individual who works at Wolox. As you can imagine this is a lot easier to achieve when the company consists of 10 employees, as opposed to what it is today, 100 employees.
Today, Wolox has a team dedicated entirely to “People Care.” These individuals are responsible for carrying out initiatives that seek to improve the day-to-day office environment and motivate the inner entrepreneurial and innovative spirit of employees.
- Social: We believe that fostering sociability and teamwork is just as important as staying up-to-date with cutting-edge technology. These positive coworker relationships that are established here at Wolox are something we value immensely. To achieve this, we encourage all Woloxers to participate in the various additional activities and programs available to them. Some initiatives include eating lunch altogether, the W-after hours, or the W-getaway: a weekend trip, where the whole company escapes the hectic workweek for some much need rest and relaxation.
- Life-Style: At Wolox we strive to maintain transparency. We are open to and welcome the proposals and new ideas that our Woloxers bring to the table. Through our open-door, transparency policy our Woloxers have implemented various activities to keep the spirit of Wolox present at all times. For example, on Sundays, our Woloxers get together to watch Game of Thrones. Additionally, on the weekends Wolox functions as a study space. These initiatives, go one step further, creating a sense of community and commitment that is truly present at Wolox today.
- Forward-Thinking: Wolox is innovation.This is why we encourage our Woloxers to be aware of and inspired by the new tools and trends in the technological world. It is for this reason that we remain open to listening to the professional interests of each of our employees. We encourage the development of and experimentation with these new elements and ideas to carry out different products and transform the local and global technology scene.
While it is possible to work without such initiatives, at Wolox we believe the little things, or the w-Perks, are what make all the difference. This is why Woloxers continue choosing to be part of such a great company.
