WOM stands for “word of mouth”. This timeless marketing method has been modernized using blockchain technology in a way that brings value to all parties including brands, consumers, social platforms, and agencies.

This is the next generation of influencer marketing and user-generated content led by micro video, peer-to-peer influence and GenZ (the cohort born after 1995).

Tired of websites and social media platforms targeting them with invasive and unwelcome advertising.

Wasting budgets competing against each other on over-saturated advertising mediums.

Compromising their user experience with unwelcome advertising to ensure revenue streams.

WOM is building a blockchain-based Protocol that gives brands, content creators, publishers, and social networks a way to monetize word-of-mouth recommendations on any app or platform.

WOM does this without any one central party exclusively profiting from the collective value created.

Our goal is to create a brand new user-generated marketing channel & ecosystem that incentivizes and rewards honest word-of-mouth recommendations with blockchain technology.

Based in Malta and Berlin, our team is pioneering an entirely new way of ethical referral traffic and augmented word-of-mouth, we call this self-sovereign marketing.

We want to create a dApp protocol that enables creators to truly be in control as influencers and in their peer-to-peer sharing of brands and products. In doing so we aim to:

  • Put marketing in the hands of consumers!
  • Take out the need for advertising middlemen, giving consumers control over if and how they recommend products to one another.
  • Help creative agencies pivot to a more decentralized traffic referral model.
  • Be part of a more ethical framework for influencers that filters out more organic and authentic content.
