Big news for Dungeon Master!
Dear Wombat Family and Dungeon Master players,
It’s been a while since we’ve last made changes to the rewards structure in Wombat Dungeon Master, so here we go with a massive update.
Despite the elaborate roadmap, we always make room for requests from our community. After all, you, the players, are our daily source of inspiration and the strongest driving force behind this solid, thriving ecosystem! And so, we finally figured out a way of fulfilling possibly one of your most frequent requests.
As part of our strategy to move towards Dungeon Worlds (where the $WOMBAT will be pivotal), we’ll be adding a huge bonus in $WOMBAT tokens to seasonal payouts, starting from the current Season 8!
Overall, our goal is to foster the use of $WOMBAT within the Dungeon Master economy, so there are two main directions we’re looking at to drive up activity massively:
- We’ll start by adding a whopping 10M $WOMBAT as rewards in Season 8, basically doubling the rewards of $25k we’ve been distributing so far!
- We’ll be introducing more ways of using $WOMBAT within Dungeon Master to keep the tokens flowing 😉
Season Bonus Rewards
The first part of the equation is additional $WOMBAT tokens used as rewards. These rewards will amount to a total of 10M $WOMBAT in Season 8, and even more in the upcoming seasons!
We plan on introducing different ways of distributing $WOMBAT as bonus rewards each season, but what’s clear is that the mechanism we use will differ from the current setup to encourage and reward even new players. There’ll be more details on it in the upcoming days.
Additional offerings in $WOMBAT
Some of the new items in the shop will be available for $WOMBAT in addition to materials or sometimes even exclusively. For instance, on February 7th, we’ll be adding a Time Spiral Wombatium. We will also add ways of consuming $WOMBAT for additional, temporary boosts, as well as planned player-to-player transactions that can be paid with $WOMBAT.
It will take a few more days until we introduce shop items to be paid for with $WOMBAT, so until then, we’ll be using Neftyblocks Drops.
New Wombatiums
We’re working on a new set of Wombatiums which can be purchased in the shop. These will allow for exciting new blends:
- The Time Spiral Wombatium will allow you to blend back in time, meaning you can blend Level 5 common items into Level 5 common items of the same slot, but older sets
- The Fire Wombatium will allow the blending of Gold Item Small Packs into Medium Packs, and Gold Item Medium Packs into Large Packs. Be aware that there will be additional Pack Drops for Gold Item Packs, too
Other Wombatiums will be introduced throughout the upcoming days and weeks, whereas some old Wombatiums will be removed, starting with the Fairy and Elemental Wombatiums.
