Buy EOS on Wombat wallet with credit/debit
We are excited to announce that Wombat users now can buy crypto with credit or debit card via our partner Carbon. This means that users can buy EOS from most countries for up to $250 per day without KYC, for fair rates and most importantly within 60 seconds.
How does it work?
To buy EOS you only need to open your wallet view and click on “buy”. A new screen pops up starting the process via Carbon’s widget. Just type in the amount of EOS you want to buy (minimum of $5.00) click “next” and make sure the correct EOS account is selected. Wombat automatically prefills your account name but it always makes sense to double-check. After running through the process the bought amount of EOS should appear in your Wombat wallet shortly.
Does it work in every country?
This new feature will work in most countries except most notably in the US and China (due to regulation). The Carbon team is currently working on a solution for the missing countries and we expect to offer the FIAT onramp for those within the next couple of months. In case your country is not supported yet we recommend to use exchanges like Coinbase to buy your first crypto and transfer them to Wombat.
