Announcement! New Zeta pack drops are live!
· We have changed some pack consistencies (kinds of packs and their numbers).
· Since the new Zeta packs are going to be around for we are not sure how long, in order not to over mint Zeta items, we decided that 20% of the items in the new Standard, Silver, Gold, and VIP Zeta packs will be old Epsilon items.
· However, if you buy packs directly from our drops, in them you will get only new Zeta items, no old Epsilon items.
· Starting tomorrow (Tuesday, April 18th) the packs that you find in your daily chests will be new Zeta packs.
· If you become a VIP before the end of this season, you will be getting Epsilon VIP packs, not new Zeta packs.
Q: Can you share some information on the Zeta Diamond Pack?
A: There are five items assigned at random with the same probabilities. You can open the pack, or you can stake it.
Q: New Token Bonus Boost gear. When is our portion of the daily $Wombat bonus determined/ calculated? At chest time? If it is at chest time; when do we need to have our token bonus boost gear equipped? If we wear the token boost gear for half our runs, how would that affect our bonus at chest time?
A: The bonus boost will be constantly calculated. The math is complicated. But if you have 10% boost items, and you wear them on half runs on a given day, then overall your boost for that day will be 5%. Boosts are calculated for each run you perform.
Q: Does that gear have to be worn for each run or just before chest time?
A: All the time if you want the boost for all runs.
Q: In summary — token boost gear will accrue points in background like it does now and be visible on chest claim… So a user needs to decide what reward to aim for.
A: Yes. It is up to the players to focus on what they want: contribution, boost, etc.
Q: How many editions of gear does Wombat plan on producing? And how will they retain value and stay relevant over the long term?
A: We have a few ideas to keep producing new gear. They will all be relevant by default. New gear will be giving opportunities to play the game in new ways. For example, with Zeta packs we are releasing bonus boosting gear, it adds bonus lineally, and it is more effective in getting more points. The questions for us to keep in mind would be how to keep all things balanced.
Q: What are the base odds for NFT drops from the chest? And what increases these odds?
A: It depends on the number of NFTs in the pool on that particular day. It depends on what we get from the developers. Then it also depends on the tier (7 or 8) of contribution that you contribute that day.
Q: Can you post somewhere the tiers of contribution required that you mentioned?
A: The tiers change constantly.
Q: Any thought on what common slot will be used for the Zeta Platinum Packs?
A: Not now. This information will be available to all at the same time.
Q: To clarify: blends for the new gear will start appearing today and be fully loaded in the next 24 to 36 hours?
A: Yes, today (Monday, April 17th). We will start with packs, then items. Rotate blends will be the last ones.
Q: Will it be possible in future seasons to add packs containing items from all 4 sets?
A: No, we do not want to remint old items. They should feel like physical items. We may revisit old functionalities of items, but they will be new templates.
Q: The difference with wombat gear is that early gear is limited because there were fewer players getting packs from the game.
A: We over minted S1 packs because at that time there were a lot fewer players. S1–49k standard packs. S2–23k packs.
Q: Can items level 2 and up have more points for blending Scrap Wombatium?
A: We could create a separate blend for fewer lvl2 items. But it would be a complicated nightmare to set up. What we have now is a lot easier to do.
Q: Can you check Zeta Platinum and Dark Matter? They don’t seem to have 1 guaranteed mythic inside.
A: We are sure it was fixed today. Dark Matter was the one that did not have a guaranteed slot for mythics, but now it does.
Q: Do we have any other functionality for the Nametag in future?
A: Nametags are designed to be a blockchain proof of your wombat. We hope that in the future we will use wombat names on leaderboards instead of wallet addresses.
Q: How many more seasons of Dungeon Master will there be before Dungeon Worlds is fully launched?
A: There will be a bunch more of DM before DW launches, at least 5, possibly more. And after DW launches, there will be a couple more.
Q: Will we get more gear sets after Zeta?
A: Definitely, we have cool ideas, which we will disclose later.
Q: Are there any tips you could give to a new player trying to build up mining power?
A: Stake as many NFTs as you can. Use your 200 number limit to the full. Play Womplay games and get EOS NFTs, stake those. If you get packs from the daily chests, stake packs until you max out your mp, then sell packs and buy powerful gear items.
Q: The blend page is somewhat buggy. It does not easily refresh, some functions are glitchy.
A: Yes, it is not perfect, but it has to deal with several different APIs, and not everything is smooth all the time.
Q: Have there been any changes to the Wombatgamers channel points (Twitch)?
A: Yes, the numbers have been raised. It is due to the fact that there is more streaming being done on the channel, there is inflation in terms of NFTs, and there are more people who have been claiming prizes. Please provide feedback if you think that our numbers are too high and difficult to reach. Obviously, if there are too few people who are able to claim anything, we would need to look at those again and change them.
Q: will we be able to have more clan functionality? (Ex. Member roles, kicking a member for no activity, chain of custody transfers for player improvements)
A: We are working on it. The concepts are ready for kicking out members (it will be coming out first), transferring leadership (which has a lot of strings attached and polishing that needs to be done, it will take a while). Unfortunately, this season there will be no clan updates because of a lot of unforeseen circumstances.
Q: Why are there still issues with the help button for clans?
A: The issues with the Clan Help button have been fixed and tested with a number of users.
DUNGEON WORLDS
Q: Will there ever be Wombat Characters with other attributes in the future?
A: The attributes of the minted Characters will stay the same. There may be other attributes assigned to new characters.
Q: When is Wombat Character drop for DM players?
A: It will be right before DW launches.
Q: Training wombats when?
A: Next week, hopefully Monday. Training will be super basic. Leveling up will be different. But the Characters may have Wombat warriors as senseis, which may make training faster. :)
Q: Will Dungeon Worlds be fork WAX and EOS?
A: Right now it is only planned for the WAX chain.
Q: Do you need anything to play Dungeon Worlds?
A: You need at least one Character. You will be able to get on possibly in the Well of Wealth, possibly as a free drop.
Q: If EOS is not used in the future, we will be able to trade our Gold Wombatiums for WAX versions?
A: We will definitely have a solution for you so that your investment will be taken into account.
Q: Will at some point Dungeon Master no longer have their own Dungeon? Way way way down the road. But there will be many other Dungeons to run in at that point?
A: There will be many dungeons to run in. And Dungeon Master will have its own dungeon within Dungeon Worlds.
