WOMWars: veWOM accumulation results
Since the launch on the Arbitrum chain in early april, Wombex was able to accumulate over ⅓ of the total veWOM on Arbitrum:
Wombex now owns 4,461,518 of the total 13,740,222 (37.1%) veWOM on Arbitrum.
This was achieved by a series of bootstrap events, hugely supported by the WMX community[1],[2].
As a gratitude for your vital engagement with Wombex, 700,000 WMX rewards were distributed to the community in the course of these two bootstrap events. The overwhelming majority of these rewards were immediately vote-locked in Wombex, providing substantial yields and bribe rewards for token stakers.
Thanks to the partnership with #PlanetZUUD and active participation from the wider community, Wombex was able to consolidate its role as the undeniable leader in the WOMWars, now holding over 37% of all veWOM on Arbitrum:
This substantial veWOM holding and TVL allows Wombex to deliver best yield boosting capabilities to all #WombexWarriors and bribes for vlWMX lockers.
The Arbitrum wmxWOM peg is at its all-time high! Even accounting for 2 Bootstrap Events and overall market volatility, wmxWOM/WOM is ~0.98 averagely last days [3]!
LPs: TVL and vAPRs
ATTOW, Wombex’s #1 rank in WOMWars is backed by a whopping 45.09m TVL in Wombat on Arbitrum alone. This accounts for 78% of the overall Wombat Arbitrum ecosystem TVL:
The majority of the provided liquidity is concentrated in the main pool. This is mainly due to higher vAPRs than any other Wombat yield aggregator can offer. At the time of writing this article, vAPR values on the main pool lie in the range from 5.5 to 6 %:
As for the other pools, yield possibilities reach even higher peaks. Current vAPR values reach an astronomical 122% for the wmxWOM pool:
Arbitrum Bribes stats
The bribe market on Arbitrum is flourishing! vlWMX holders enjoy an average 32% vAPR, with some pools providing more than 103% vAPRs in bribes:
The massive bribe rewards that Wombex can offer to vlWMX holders is one of the main reasons for our ever-expanding community.
To date, vlWMX holders have the highest Wombat governance power, with each vlWMX corresponding to over 1.28 veWOM votes!

Major developments on Wombat
Starting from April 28, Wombat Exchange discontinued the Eco bribe pools and started allocating 5% of all monthly WOM emissions directly to Eco pools based on TVL, veWOM holdings and contributions to Wombat. The allocation breakdown will be reviewed and adjusted on a monthly basis.
Since Wombex is the clear leader of the WOMWars by all essential metrics, the majority of WOM emissions will be issued to the wmxWOM/WOM pair.
In may 2023, 60% of all WOM rewards allocated to Eco pools by Wombat are given to the wmxWOM/WOM pair!
Wombat Exchange is expanding rapidly! It is now ranking in the top 10 by trading volume on both Arbitrum and BNB chain.
What’s next for Wombat? Here we go:
- Wombat V2 volatile pool coming soon, so there will be even more trading volumes
- The new batch of LSDs joining the Wombat. New LSD War shortly -> more bribes -> more benefits for veWOM/vlWMX holders
- The Wombat team is working tirelessly on growing the platform by performing groundbreaking academic research and implementing novel features into Wombat.
All the aforementioned means that holding veWOM has never been as attractive as today.
