“Hum Mahilayen Uttarakhand” Conclave Celebrates Women’s Achievements and Empowerment
Dehradun’s Pacific Hotel hosted the grand “Hum Mahilayen Uttarakhand” Conclave, a momentous event honouring women’s remarkable achievements and India’s ‘Nari Shakti’ (women's power). The prestigious Shakti Awards, presented by the iTV Foundation, recognized exceptional women achievers from diverse fields, highlighting their courage and resilience.
The conclave witnessed the presence of esteemed personalities, including Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami and actress Himani Shivpuri, emphasizing the significance of recognizing and empowering women.
Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced a groundbreaking 30% reservation for women in government jobs, demonstrating their commitment to gender equality. He also outlined initiatives like PM Modi’s Ujjwala Yojana, providing LPG cylinders to households, and his vision of transforming 1.25 lakh women into lakhpatis on Uttarakhand’s 25th statehood anniversary.
