Bio: Asha Jomis is the founder of Women’s Business Incubation Program (www.wbip.in) and Governance Innovation Labs (www.gilabs.in). WBIP supports aspiring women entrepreneurs to set up digital business by providing office space, networks, mentors, marketing, human resources and digital engagement. GIlabs is a research initiative to improve participatory governance through research, business and Media.
Asha is the Director of Augsys Technologies Pvt. Ltd. (www.augsys.in). Augsys is a startup that develops Augmented Reality based mobile applications.
Asha holds an M.Phil in Technology Policy from Judge Business School, Cambridge University and Certificate of Advanced Studies in Public Governance and administration, ETH, Zurich. She has also interned at the UN Headquarters in New York. She is the recipient of Devi Award by The New Indian Express and is also a TEDx speaker.
