Stop shaming the breastfeeding mothers!

Our government has not taken any provisions to provide any facilities either especially in crowded public areas like restaurants. And it is to fill this void we launched this campaign of setting up of breastfeeding rooms in all major public areas.

Recently we came across this strong write-up of a mother Veena JSwhere she describes the predicament of breastfeeding mothers; the discriminatory comments they face from relatives, the ogling stares of bystanders, the necessity of breastfeeding rooms in crowded public spaces, why you shouldn’t be covering your child while breastfeeding, how breastfeeding is crucial and how mothers are pushed to the brink of discontinuing breastfeeding even before the mandatory period of 6 months.
