Introducing Society x Tech

I am so excited to announce the launch of Society x Tech; A hand-picked curation of articles, podcasts, and interviews that dig into the societal implications of technological trends.

Each month you will receive a newsletter that explores different sides of how certain trends in technology are impacting present day society in the world. The goal is to foster new thoughts and insights in hopes to encourage thoughtfulness when creating new products within technology. Immediate future editions explore the following trends:

• Mindful Tech
• Online Communities
• Open Source

I’m starting this because I’ve always been interested in the sociological aspect of technology (I wrote a blog post on it, you can check it out here) and am passionate about making sure that more people are more mindful of different groups before building new products. I think this could serve as a great way to foster different conversations with different groups of people to make more inclusive technology.
