A bit about Women Making Films
www.wmfindia.com

We live in an overwhelmingly sexist, casteist, racist & homophobic world! The patriarchy, misogyny and sexism in the society permeates into all industries without an exception.

Through WMF, I intend to create a forum for the promotion of filmmakers and their work through blogs, workshops, screenings, film festivals and mentorship programs. I welcome women from around the world to sign up and send their work. — Vaishnavi Sundar, Founder.

Please go through the mission and objectives, and join us in our social media channels for further engagement.

Simply comment below that you’d like to be added as a writer, and we’ll add you right away.

Once accepted, you can submit links to your drafts or published stories, and if they fit WMF’s criteria, they will be added to our publication.

There are a few things to keep in mind:

At WMF, we wish to amplify the voices of women and we are openly choosing to publish work of women ONLY. That means we will not accept articles by men, articles that are sexist, racist or otherwise oppressive stories that contribute to and perpetuate the marginalisation of people based on age, disability, sex, or sexual orientation.
