30

What is special about JCU?

The Community-the people-students, colleagues-

What was your happiest moment at JCU?

There have been so many. To pick one: I remember the closing ceremony of our first 26 hour dance marathon for Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital where we raised over $17,000 for the babies.

If you had a magic wand, how would you improve the JCU experience?

I’d build a bridge across the Quad connecting the Ad building and the Rec Center so there would be a continuous flow of collaboration

Fun fact about you:

On April 1, 1999 My husband and I received Communion from Pope John Paul in Rome, Italy at St. Peter’s Basilica. We were the only Americans to receive and there were only 20 people total. It was also Holy Thursday. On Dec. 31st.,1999, 10 months later, our prayers were answered (after 13 years of marriage), we found out we were expecting our oldest son, who is now 18 years old and a Senior in High School. The following year, we were blessed with a second son.
