Hackathon Results: How did it go? 🚀
We are thrilled to hear some amazing news: we managed to win three challenges during the Polkadot Ink hackathon! It's a big win for us and our project, which is created for all women in the Polkadot ecosystem. This was a huge moment for us. It proved that our ideas are not just good, but they can also make a real impact.
We can say it's one small step for us but a big step for our Polkadot community. 😄
What were we building?
As a group of female developers and designers, we are passionate about blockchain and inclusivity. Our project is pretty straightforward: we're creating an NFT collection, especially for women who are part of Polkadot. We believe these NFTs can help bring more women into the tech world and give them recognition and inclusivity.
Which challenges did we win?
Here, you can see in which categories we managed to score and get some nice prizes. Aleph Zero, Getblock, and Astar voted for us, and we are very thankful.
With these prizes, we will get some support that we need to make our project even better. We don't want to deliver half-product. We want it to be perfect.
What's next?
With the boost from our success at the hackathon, we're more excited than ever to develop the NFT collection we have been working on. We want to create something that not only looks good but also makes a difference in promoting women in tech and blockchain.
And to make it even bigger, we already started our Astar Mentor Programme. We are thrilled we got an opportunity to work with the best team and have their insightful advice. To have such a strong team to support us is an incredible benefit.
We really want to build a strong community of women in the Polkadot ecosystem to encourage collaboration, creativity, and education.
