Polkadot Sub0: Brunch 2024

Sub0 is one of the biggest Polkadot conferences, held every year. This year, it took place in March in Bangkok. This exciting event is always full of interesting workshops and talks, and it serves as the focal point for developers building at every level of the Polkadot tech stack.

It would not be a proper Polkadot event if the Women of Polkadot didn't organize a meetup event for all the ladies in the eco. This breakfast event, curated by Luuu, aimed to help create connections and growth within the women’s community of the Polkadot ecosystem. It was a fantastic opportunity to network, share insights, and empower each other in a welcoming and inspiring environment.

How did it go?

On the 13th of March, we all met close to the Sub0 venue in the amazing restaurant ONE — Enchanting Thai Kitchen & Lounge. We enjoyed amazing local food and had opportunities to try some local specialties. No one (not even me as an organizer) was expecting a smokey lotus plate. (What tf did I order?)

With more than 20 people attending the event, I have to say that it was a successful experience. We connected with a few amazing women in the ecosystem. We had interesting talks and discussions, and most importantly, we had fun!

I want to say a big THANK YOU to everyone attending. It’s an honor to talk with so many amazing women building our Polkadot ecosystem.
