Women on the Block is pleased to announce that NEM Foundation is a Silver sponsor of the “Women on the Block Asia 2018” Blockchain Conference taking place in Singapore on November 14, 2018. The NEM Foundation is a non-profit foundation that manages the NEM blockchain platform. NEM is an open source blockchain platform built from the ground up with a focus on security, developer friendliness, and scalability.
Women on the Block is also pleased to announce the Women in Blockchain Asia as a community partner for the Women on the Block Asia 2018 Conference. Women in Blockchain Asia a platform managed by the NEM Foundation to support causes and organisations dedicated to helping marginalised women as well as increasing women’s empowerment in the region.
Women on the Block presents a day of learning and thought leadership around blockchain technology. The full day conference will begin at 9:00 am with speakers on topics including Blockchain 101, how to launch a blockchain startup or to be an investor in one, blockchain and law, coding and smart contracts, financial inclusion and economic development and other use cases of blockchain. The conference will also feature keynote speakers unique to the blockchain, cryptography, and digital assets space.
