NEW Pub! ‘Women Who Use Tools’

The stories in this publication will be about girls and women who use tools and love building stuff, especially with wood. We want women to write stories about their experiences — and we want men to write about a woman you know who loves building stuff with tools

Of course, they are for everyone to enjoy. I think we’ll be receiving some really interesting articles. And if you (guys, too) have a story about a woman you know who built something with tools, write it and send it.

I’ve been wanting to create a spot for these types of stories for a while now — and finally found the time and encouragement to do so.

THREE OPTIONS to submit

1. Write Your Story — a new one, unpublished

I believe we all have stories to tell and I’d love to fill the pages with them.

I’ll take the funny stuff, the serious stuff, the good and the bad, the successes and failures, the mistakes, the useful, the ugly and the beautiful — hopefully with pictures.

Just ask to be a writer for ‘Women Who Use Tools’ in the comments below. Wait for a response from me, then follow steps to send the draft. Men are welcome to write about a woman they know who use tools, too.

2. Already sent this type of story to Medium? Cool!

Send it directly to the comments below, and I’ll highlight it in a story or newsletter. No need to be a writer, just open your existing story and send the URL.

3. A Prompt to Get You Started

What is your favorite tool?

How long have you had it, how did you come by it, do you still use it? What have you built with it so far.

Keep it between 1 min and 3 minutes, just enough to get your feet wet.

‘Digging Up Bones’ regular issues — back in March

I’ve got the next issue of our regular ‘Digging Up Bones’ ready to go. This is a publication for older stories, at least four months old, that are being forgotten. Let’s dig them back up and get more eyes on them.

‘Dancing for My Life’ Publication

If you’re a dancer, wannabe dancer, was a dancer, know some dance stories, or you love to exercise and have some stories to tell, ask to be added as a writer to this pub in the comments below. Write your story and send it to me in draft form.

Already have a story published on Medium on this subject? Good!!!! Send me the URL and I’ll highlight your story so more eyes can read it.
