I read poems and articles by Janne Robinson. She is a bad ass women and I like her voice. The quote is from one of her articles.

For me it was such a great reminder when I read it a while back. In fact I have it on a note above my desk. To remind me of who is in charge of my path — my destiny. I am.

It is so easy to fall into the “if only”-trap, right? I mean, we have all been there or we stay there a wee bit to long sometimes. We park our car and hang out in amusement park — “Complaintland”. It’s kind of nice in the beginning. It feels like a relief. Finally, I will get to say what I feel. Just relax and lift everything off my chest. Tell the whole wide world how I was dealt this bad set of cards. How difficult it has been for me. How I cant trust or count on other people. All the people I need are not showing up for me… And then, ding ding, bright red light flashing. A flash of red in my cheeks and I feel embarrassed. Hm, maybe I should show up for me first?
