Could Canva Acquiring Affinity Change the Tech World?

As a person in tech you have probably used various creative programs, including Adobe, to create projects at work or as a freelancer. While Adobe has dominated the tech world as a creative software for well over two decades, other platforms such as Canva have made their mark. Canva has allowed users to be able to create content without having much design and tech experience. The platform is well-known to professionals and everyday users.

With the recent acquisition of the Affinity Software, Canva could possibly become a direct competitor of Adobe. The creative software program is simple and great for collaborative projects. There are even options for educators and students K-12 at certain schools to use Canva for free. Affinity is known for being user friendly, affordable, and having a strong performance. The program can even be used on an IPAD. It has also been an alternative for many. Together the software programs create a workflow that allows flexibility for an affordable price. With that being said, there is the opportunity to cater to a wider-range of users.
