Hey there!

Little life update.

I recently graduated with my Master’s degree in Systems Engineering and Management and started a Software Rotation Program as a Software Systems Engineer at Toyota. (I cannot believe I just said that! It still doesn’t feel real.)

In this article, I wanted to share what I did during my first week-ish at the job and would love to hear if there’s anything you’d recommend!

So fasten your seatbelts, because we’re diving into my first week at Toyota. Lets go…places! (Get it, because that’s their saying)

Knock Out All Trainings ASAP

Not to say that trainings aren’t important. They are. However, it can get very mundane very quickly, and as much as you may feel like making the trainings stretch and getting to them when you can, knocking them out as soon as possible is the best way to keep yourself available for “ACTUAL” tasks when you start to get them. I wanted to hit the ground running!

Setup and Customize Your Space

The best part of getting new equipment and access to accounts was customizing all of the settings and changing colors everywhere! On a more serious note though, customizing my computer made my setup more…
