You know these moments in life that define you?

It wasn’t just one moment for me, it was a series of moments that chiseled away at my innocence and led me to the point I’m currently in now.

I was, at that time an expert — a very good one I might add but… I was a slave for my job. Literally. My days were long, my nights were longer and weekends? F*** them… I wanted that promotion. Yeah, that one existential doubt we all have questioning whether any of these work is worth it! However, there was a catch: I am (and still am) a woman working in for big tech-businesses — one industry thoroughly dominated by men. I only wish I knew what it was that I wished for…

My personality

I didn’t sugarcoat things. I call BS when I know it and I didn’t play the office politics game. I hated it. Hearing me speak, some people appreciated my honesty, but not everyone liked me. I was too direct, too bitchy, too… me. I quickly realized that I was a pain in the ass.
