At women++, we are a team of dedicated men and women, all passionate by technology, willing to give our best to provide you with opportunities to learn and grow in the tech space.
Meet the team:
Marta D’Angelo
Marta is an expert in statistical modelling of complex systems holding a PhD in plasma physics. She is currently modelling expert leading a small team of data scientists to provide customised solutions across different industry sectors. She joined Women++ with the aim to share her experience and support women who are willing to enter the tech world.
Maëlle (Mae) Baud
After working in chemical R&D for over seven years, Maëlle, curious about digitalization, reoriented her career towards digital marketing. She then specialized in marketing for tech startups, helping them develop their brand and raise funds.
Marina Petrova
Marina has a background in economics and extensive experience in business analysis and risk management, mainly in the energy industry. While doing her Ph.D., she developed a strong interest in data science. She is very enthusiastic about further exploring machine learning and artificial intelligence. Joining women++, she aims to get more women interested in AI.
Luisa Contreras
Luisa is co-organizing Hack’n’Lead 2019. Originally coming from Hospitality, Luisa transitioned into photography and videography in recent years. While photographing and filming events for women++ she discovered a love for the tech-community in Switzerland and the aim of women++.
Chris Gwilliams
Chris Gwilliams is also known online as ‘encima’ due to mistakes he made as a teenager that will now haunt him forever. Active primarily on Github, he also listens to music at every waking moment and obessively tracks almost every aspect of his life. Currently working as a Technical Architect for ETH Zurich and University Zurich.
Agustina La Greca
Biomedical engineer passionate about artificial intelligence. After finishing her master’s studies, Agustina worked in R&D in the pharma industry (Novartis AG) and in healthcare IT (Varian Medical Systems). Last September, she started her PhD in AI for Medical Image Analysis at ETH Zürich and University Hospital Zürich. She advocates for equality and finds in women++ the perfect place to share her enthusiasm for tech with more women.
Patricia Egger
Patricia is a mathematician with over 3 years of experience in cyber security. She works a cyber security consultant, advising various companies in improving their cyber security posture, and leads an initiative to encourage more women to get into cyber security.
Steve
Steve is a very good boy. He is Chris’ partner in crime and has shown a lot of support to our team. We love him.
