On this day, March 8th 2015, let us remember…

to be unapologetically ourselves and relentless in pursuing our dreams.

to lean in, stand up, stand out, and exercise “NO.”

to voice our opinions and fight the double-standards.

to tell our daughters they’re not “bossy,” they’re leaders and they can do anything they put their mind to.

to empower each other instead of bring each other down.

to honor the achievements of women who have paved the way for us and, in turn, blaze a trail for next generation.

Let us remember…

that we should feel free to do whatever it is we want to do.

that each human being was carried into this world by a woman.

that countless women around the world are being trafficked, abused, mistreated, and living in poverty.

that men will need to be part of the conversation in order to break ceilings, end discrimination, and fight for equality.

And most of all…

that we are imperfect and beautiful…

and we deserve to be heard, loved, appreciated, and feel fulfilled.

Did this resonate with you? Hit recommend and let me know how you’re blazing a trail for women.
