We have partnered with SheDecides, Amnesty International, the International Planned Parenthood Federation, Planned Parenthood Global, Equality Now and Minority Veterans of America, Marie Stopes International & WOW — Women of the World Festival for the 2020 March for Our Human Rights. These international organisations are committed to advocating for the advancement of women’s rights and provide invaluable resources and services to women in need across the world.

“The tireless advocacy for women’s human rights and social justice by organisations like SheDecides, IPPF, and Amnesty International has been instrumental in the empowerment of women and girls and the promotion and protection of their human rights. We are inspired by them and are honoured to partner for the March for Our Human Rights. Together we will inspire change and launch women and their allies into a new decade of activism.”

- Women’s March Global Executive Director, Uma Mishra-Newbery

SheDecides was launched at the start of 2017 as an urgent reaction to the Global Gag Rule. It has rapidly evolved from a hashtag and a one-day conference into a global political movement driving change, fuelled by community action, and with young people at its heart. Their work is guided by the SheDecides Manifesto: A new normal where every girl and woman can decide about her body, her life, her future. Without question.

Amnesty International

Amnesty International is a global movement of over seven million people, in more than 150 countries, working together to protect and promote human rights. Their vision is for every person to enjoy all the rights enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and generate action to ensure countries around the world adhere to international human rights standards.

Amnesty International is independent of any government, political ideology, economic interest or religion. Our partnership with Amnesty International will help to ensure that women’s rights enshrined in international law are promoted and respected and observed.

International Planned Parenthood Federation

International Planned Parenthood Federation is a global charity committed to leading a locally owned, globally connected civil society movement that provides and enables services and champions sexual and reproductive health and rights. With a federation of 133 member associations working in 146 countries, IPPF has delivered over 223 million reproductive health and services to 68 million people. Our partnership with IPPF for the 2020 March For Our Human Rights will help raise awareness of global challenges surrounding sexual and reproductive health.

Planned Parenthood Global

For more than 45 years, Planned Parenthood Global, the international arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, has worked overseas to break down barriers to health care. In partnership with more than 100 organisations across Africa and Latin America, we advance the health and rights of young people, women, and families, with an emphasis on the most vulnerable and underserved.

Equality Now

The Mission of Equality Now is to achieve legal and systemic change that addresses violence and discrimination against women and girls around the world. Their work focuses on ending sexual violence, harmful practices, sex trafficking and achieving legal equality.

“At Equality Now, we believe in tackling the most difficult issues, challenging ingrained cultural assumptions and calling out inequality wherever we see it. And we believe in the power of the law to create enduring equality for women and girls everywhere.”

Minority Veterans of America

The mission of Minority Veterans of America (MVA) is to create belonging and advance equity for minority veterans, with the vision of a just world that empowers minority veterans. MVA is built on and guided by values of inclusivity, advocacy, Allyship and education.

Marie Stopes International

Marie Stopes International works in 37 countries around the world to help women and girls to have children by choice, not chance. For an individual woman or girl, being able to choose when she has children means having the power to take control of her future. Over the last 40 years, Marie Stopes have touched the lives of more than 120 million women and girls, giving them the power to take control of their futures. But there is much more to do, today there are 214 million women who want to use contraception but can’t and that number continues to grow.

WOW — Women of the World Festival

WOW — Women of the World is a global movement celebrating women and girls, taking a frank look at the obstacles they face. Festivals take place year-round across around the world, and in London in March. The WOW Foundation produces WOW festivals across the world to celebrate women and girls, take a frank look at what prevents them from achieving their potential, and raise awareness globally of the issues they face and possible solutions. It is the biggest, most comprehensive and most significant festival dedicated to presenting work by women and promoting equality for women and girls.
