Last week we released our 4th action to End Violence Against Women — “WMG Mini-Course: Our Community.”

So far we have been in conversation with Women’s March Harare and Women’s March Kingston to discuss the realities around violence against women in their community and the actions they are taking to advance women’s human rights. Follow the links to watch the Webinars:

We also launched a tweetstorm this Sunday (May 12th) to mark 1 year since Saudi Women Human Rights Defenders (WHRDs) have been in jail and flood social media to demand the immediate and unconditional release of Saudi Women Human Rights Defenders.

Over the last year, Women’s March Global along with our #FreeSaudiWomen coalition has worked to advocate for the release of Saudi Women Human Rights Defenders and created a petition that has been signed by nearly a quarter a million people. Our Executive Director just penned an op-detailing the past year of abuses in Saudi Arabia. But there is still more work to be done.
