Product Updates: Projects are getting a new look

We’ve got some exciting news. After hopping on the phone with a selection of our community members, we then spent the time to look through suggestions, ideas, and terminology that resonated with you.

You asked, we delivered!

The WONDR team, together with our members, decided that the word projects was a little formal. So, after much deliberation and thought, Projects will be rebranded to “Spaces”. There’s no need to worry about the great content that you’ve already created, none of this will be affected, you’ll just see the word “spaces” when you go to your profile, or search for other people’s content.

To recap, what are spaces?

Spaces are simply a place where you can connect, collaborate, and share resources! Have group conversations around topics you care about, share, and discuss content that you’ve created, plus grow closer as you work towards the same goals together.

Why did we settle on the word spaces?

The word spaces is a much simpler and open description to describe what our community is creating and doing! We’d received feedback that the word project had connotations that might be suggestive of a commitment, something that is time-sensitive and perhaps a serious thing to be involved in.

We know that spaces are centered around the desire and requirement to connect with others, and freely collaborate, create, and contribute as you wish!
