Project philosophy

The Woodland Eco project is built on the philosophy of saving natural resources, as well as their multiplication. Our philosophy is based on the goal of improving the ecological situation in the world through the planting of trees. The philosophy of the project is what unites us and helps us move together to save our planet.

Creation the Woodland Eco philosophy

How did the idea to create the project come about? Obviously, out of an urgent need to act. We see the extent to which nature is now being polluted by humans and assess the risks, what this can lead to (and already leads to).

What issues are worrying us?

• Air pollution. Factories and plants emit tons of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere every day. Because of this, holes are formed in the ozone layer, which do not provide the same protection from solar radiation as before. The temperature of the Earth is getting higher. Although an international treaty has been adopted to reduce the average temperature by 2050, we understand that we need to act now.
• Reduction of biodiversity. Forests that are cut down and burned as a result of fires are home to thousands of species of animals and plants. No forest — no unique species that create the biodiversity of the planet. It is important as part of the biological chains that form ecosystems.
• Food problems in dry regions. Regions where the air temperature reaches 40–45°C, by default, cannot grow many of the crops needed for food production.

Of course, these are far from all the problems that are relevant now. But they all have a similar cause — global climate change. Therefore, we have found a way to help the planet now.

Planting a tree = solving climate problems

We have built a philosophy around the idea that tree planting can solve climate problems. We conducted a lot of research and got acquainted with the existing ones on this topic in order to understand whether we are moving in the right direction.

Why tree planting?

• Trees are the lungs of the planet. They take in carbon dioxide and release the oxygen we breathe. Accordingly, the more trees, the cleaner the air, which directly affects human health and the planet as a whole.
• Planting trees is not only useful, but also an interesting activity. It brings people together, because planting a tree, next to which the tree of an acquaintance or friend will grow, is much more interesting than acting alone. We believe in the power of the community and we want to unite people who believe in it as much as we do.
• Restoring the green cover of the planet. Entire forest areas are cut down as a result of human actions. Although it is regulated, in some regions this activity is illegal. Therefore, we undertake to restore what is destroyed due to commercial purposes.

Over time, we have formed a philosophy that would combine the ecological and economic aspects of human life.

We decided that people who strive to help the planet should be rewarded for this. It is not only motivation, but also a valuable resource to move forward together.
