Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow
Juneβs sun dress sways in gentle breeze,
Inviting May to linger, please.
Sunflowers bow with grace so true,
Whispering, βMay I stay with you?β
Cherries and mulberries adorn the land,
Chasing them are the bees as dusk flees by.
The Queenly Moon, with silver gleam,
Strings of stars in nightβs moonlight,
Cool breeze whispers tales of love,
From skies above and realms thereof.
A mist of light, a joyous dance,
Lifeβs (day)dreams a single glance,
An ode to summerβs warm whisper,
A plea to linger in this place.
Life is suddenly sweet, it lingers
Sunshine, daisies, butter mellow
Juneβs sun dress sways in gentle breeze,
Inviting May to linger, please.
Sunflowers bow with grace so true,
Whispering, βMay I stay?β
A free verse sung beneath the skies,
In whispers soft and dreams so clear,
I too ask the summer, can I stay here?
Can I stay here, please?β β β β β β
