Anthi Is a Tree

Growing in my mind

Anthi is a tree growing in my mind
Its blue hues are reflected in the sky
Its whiteness finds friends in the clouds in kind
As the sea’s scent from every side slides by
If Anthi is a tree, I am a hand
Caressing every branch, kissing her trunk
Walking around her, feeling all the land
Tasting all her fruits, turning sweetly drunk
What if I am a tree, an evergreen
Slowly dying when she is far from near

A place for duuudes of all sexes, ages, religions, and coffee-preferences to hang out and shoot the sh!t about their latest creations, to brag, lament, query, or quote, it’s all good…
