Looking for Love

The Sun may be too hot for a sand cat
looking for love near every waterhole
The Moon may be too cold for most lovers
looking for love near the mean of the night
The stars are like the Moon except for their
incessant smiles masked also by the Sun
Your smile may be conspicuous enough
to bring everyone around to your feet
While a contest it is not per your eyes
my heart quakes following my aching mind
