The Power and Danger of Language

a skillful artist’s brush
with a palette of words like “lush”,

or a harmful cutting tool
for one who’s devious and cruel;

a hammer used by a fool,
for ends that come to naught,

or a keen and delicate tool
to construct a useful thought.
