It’s been a busy month.

Preparation for San Fran started. 15 days to go. The trip will take place July 19th — July 27th. Meetings have been set with Google, Apple, HP, AirBnB, Sky, Bebo, Rocketspace, Techstars, and more. Outcome(s) to follow in the next few weeks. We will be blogging in San Fran and you can follow the trips progress under #SanFranSUS.

New features, UI updates and bug fixes.

Hello comments…or saywhy? as we have ‘innovatively’ termed this new features. Have you ever wanted to either give a reason for voting yes or no or ask why one of your friends voted yes or no? Well now you can. Saywhy? can be used for both messages sent and received.

The new feature exists as an IM conversations where all users who have voted may contribute to the conversation. So say your ‘bestie’ sends out an image of herself in a pair of shocking pink skinny jeans…she looks ‘beautiful’, of course, as always. BUT those jeans just aren’t doing it for you. Soooo you vote no. Before saywhy? you may have received a slightly offended ‘bestie’ on the end of the line…not now! You can vote no to your heart’s content and JUSTIFY every single decision. No offensive replies. No tears shed. No problemo!

Other updates include:

  • Verified tick for followers accounts — now all celebrities, brands and politicians on wooju will be verified with a tick symbol. This makes it easier for you guys to see that an account has been verified by us. You now ‘friend’ them rather than ‘follow’ them.
  • Updated tutorial screens — ok…so we always try to think outside of the box and be a little risky…but we are going to instil a little more class in the app. New screens, with the addition of excess paint!
  • Fixed repeating questions — if your internet wasn’t the fastest then your questions may have reappeared after answering. We quickened the pace and now you won’t re-see woojus.
  • Capped question length — quit asking long questions! There is now a 72 character limit on questions, with the addition of a second line and best of all…you can now add emoticons!
  • Sharing is caring — after sending a question you can now share the results on Facebook and Twitter. Let the rest of your network see how indecisive you are.
  • Notification fixes — everything should be in order now.
New Tour & App Store Screens

So that’s just about it for now. More prep for San Fran over the next few weeks and we are working on something really cool for the Glasgow Games!!

Stay tuned.
