Shepherd is writing a library

What shepherd is doing is to write a library,
it is a series of programs or functions, those allow for an item, a value, to be connected, to interact, with a blockchain layer.
In Lehman’s terms it is to play using wallets in a non blockchain environment.
If you win an item it is stored in an inventory, but if it is an NFT there is value so this value cannot be hacked.
this is the blockchain conundrum, what should be on chain yet usable, and what should be off chain yet safe.

Currently the game is ran in a closed server, meaning we can’t “see” the program. we cant hack it or change it without hacking the server, we also don’t know the data structure in this server.
So this game is private, it cannot be copied BUT it cannot be transparent ATM.
What I believe is that Shep is creating a library that deals with the exchange between a traditional game, something we could play on our browser, or even on our TV with game broadcast. This works solely for WG right now, and we dont know what the final solution will implement.
BUT with this library you should be able to provide transparent exchanges (transparent economy), a safe IP (the game is not seen fully, you cant copy or hack it), and above all connect the blockchain to ANY program that is not blockchain.

Many projects have tried to provide similar solutions, but there is no adoption or it usually uses blocckchain programming.
With Shep solution :

  • It is proven with an MVP, a full game, it works, it is safe
  • You dont need blockchain to program, blockchain programmers are rare, they are expensive and regular people simply not understand it.

This allows for a game to be eco friendly while using the blockchain, only the deposit withdrawal are on chain. and regular players don't need a wallet, they can just create an account, play and never use the blockchain.
versatile library is what Shep is programming right now, it is proprietary and could be licensed etc.

This could include any arbitration layer (something to protect the on/off chain interaction) but I am not sure it would be wolfchain. It could be, and it would work well, but I simply don't know.
This library is being coded for WG, I am not sure it is going to be programmed to be versatile and apply to other game, but it is precisely what shep is doing and I would personally create and sell the universal solution.

This is Wolf Game
