Hack the Email Frenzy this Holiday Season with the Woopra and SendGrid Integration
As the holiday season progresses, the volume and frequency of emails in our inbox multiply. Because of this, it’s a necessity that brands closely monitor their customers’ behaviors to consistently seek insights that can help them send more relevant emails.
If you’re one of those people looking to significantly improve your email campaigns, look no further than the Woopra and SendGrid integration!
The integration gives you a powerful way to track real-time customer behavior to send contextually rich emails to increase customer acquisitions and sign ups this holiday season.
Dynamic, Behavior-Driven Email Campaigns
Here at Woopra, we’re continually thinking of new ways to help you improve the customer experience, leveraging behavior and cross-departmental insight. An email that provides helpful information based on a customer’s recent behavior is much more likely to get a response as compared to a generic email promoting an item they haven’t shown interest in.
Woopra is the central hub of all your data including in-app behaviors, website events, support tickets, social activity, customer messages and payment information. Because of this, you’re not limited to sending email campaigns based on simple email events or static customer attributes.
With the integration, you can track live customer behavior in Woopra and immediately send contextually rich SendGrid emails in your audience’s peak moments of interest.
Leveraging app and Website Activity to Personalize Emails
Woopra tracks customer events at an individual profile level and allows you to create segments based on a combination of visitor actions and properties. You can simply create a people report in Woopra based on a set of custom actions and ‘export’ that customer segment to send a batch email on the spot.
For example, let’s say you want to find all those newly signed up customers who opened a support ticket in Zendesk and send them a link to your new onboarding guide.
Simply select ‘new signups’ and ‘opened Zendesk ticket’ actions in the Woopra People view, click on export and select the SendGrid email action ‘Send Email’.
What’s more, Woopra gives you the ability to personalize your content directly inside the export setting so that you can send a highly relevant message in a matter of clicks.
Woopra also allows you to send trigger based emails to your customers based on specific actions they perform. You can combine email event properties with visitor actions, campaign properties and visit properties to define a behavioral cohort on the go.
For example, let’s say you want to send out an email every time your customers add an item to the cart but do not make a purchase. You can set up a trigger in Woopra to send an email to these customers with a time-bound promotional code so that they come back to their cart.
With this integration, you can also use ‘Scheduled Batches’ in Woopra to send out an email based on pre-determined criteria with an hourly, daily, weekly or monthly frequency, ensuring timely communications with customers that require nurturing.
For example, each night, you might want to send an email to all those customers who opened a chat window on your website, downgraded their subscription plan and stopped engaging with your app. You can select these custom actions in Woopra and set up a scheduled batch action to send an email via SendGrid to incentivize them to re-engage with your app.
In addition to the above features, Woopra automatically synchronizes with SendGrid to track important events associated with emails generated by SendGrid, such as emails bounced, opened, clicked, unsubscribed, processed, dropped, deferred and delivered. This gives you the ability to embed these email lifecycle events throughout Woopra — in your analytics, reporting and segmentation.
