How to succeed atTikTok in 2020
When I first heard of this app, I never thought of its true potential or why it was predestined to disrupt the social media market as we know it.
So as I believe if someone never ventures and tries new ways to market himself or his business he will ineluctably fail, I downloaded a couple of months ago and started discovering around: the formats of content uploaded, the community and the reach of the platform. And at first what I came up with as conclusions were the mainstream opinions that could find all over the internet:
- The platform is for a young audience
- No monetization system: why should businesses and creators switch?
- Low-quality content
- A bad reputation in the older audiences
So I just put the app in a folder named as others on my phone and was convinced that it would not blow up. But guess what??!
As any reticent people for a change, I was looking at it all wrong: So I started hearing the opinion of the GaryVee´s of the world, reading some articles but specially joined some facebook groups with TikTok content or communities.
Soon enough many facts became clear to my eyes: This platform is disruptive and will have a predominant place in our future and that´s why:
