Showers through my veins

I hoped through the Narnia and on my knees I prayed

The rain never let, the ice so cold and wet

Yet a new month that comes every year

Full circle the world came back to life

Birds singing their songs that fill my ears

It’s primordial,

For this I am sure, if I can count on my hands

Then the sun has started to shine once again

Dreams and sandcastles that reach the sky

Leaves are green, and this I can’t deny

It’s that primordial time, it’s my time

Laughter,

Suntans,

Burns with first loves that never have to end

Proms and ubiquitous bonds

Dances around the Maypole, let everyone’s eyes be light,

If only for a season or two we get to be whole

It’s primordial,

For this I am sure, if I can count on my hands,

Then the sun has started to shine once again,

Salubrious dreams and sandcastles that reach the sky,

Leaves are green and this I can’t deny, it’s that primordial time, it’s my time

Lying in the grass, sunsets for hours,

Fluorescent fireflies lighting the way when it finally goes down

Drinking margaritas, or maybe a chill patron

If you do then I will;

It’s primordial,

Of all we can be sure

Trusted friend, contented lover

May we serenade through the summer

For every day, with the gentle breeze

Shall there be an ease amidst the jubilant thrill

It’s my time, our time

It is Primordial.

Happy First Day of Spring! As always thanks for reading and supporting; means the world!
