You don’t have to remind me to ditch the perfectionism. Medium overflows with that advice. And thankfully — for us serial overthinkers!

BUT…while you’re ditching the “P” word…

Don’t ditch excellence!

Don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater!

Can someone please define “excellence?”

The definition of excellence is as elusive as trying to hold onto water with wide-open fingers.

There’s no “official” definition to my knowledge.

So let’s go with a working definition from legendary NBA coach Pat Riley:

“Excellence is the gradual result of always striving to do better.”
