Friends are good, yet sometimes their intentions are not.

There are two areas in which they can sabotage your relationship, so keep an eye out.

Always in Her Ear

This section is more common for the men compared to the conniving sex friend.

This is when your partner’s friends and family are in her ear talking crap about you. Unfortunately, this happens more than we imagine, disrupting your relationship.

Don’t allow this to happen; you must know if and when it’s happening.

If you try to address this, but it keeps happening, you should separate and end the relationship.

I recently watched a 90-day fiance episode, and one of the couples was in this scenario.

This one was about a mother telling her daughter’s fiance he wasn’t good enough for her. They did not get along, and the daughter was close to her mom, so he was screwed.

The only option for him to have a happy life is to divorce her.

It’s sad and might seem extreme, but the mother-in-law or monster-in-law will keep getting in her ear and ruin their chance of success.

“Relationships are complicated” is what everyone says, but the good ones aren’t.

If your relationship is complicated, it’s crap and never going to work.

Relationships are straightforward; we make them difficult. Find someone who is friendly, has decent values and doesn’t have any issues themselves or with family/friends.

We are looking at 2% of the population here, so good luck finding someone of value you can spend 40+ years with.

It’s a pipe dream, so date someone as long as you can, and when the relationship has run its course, take a break or find someone new.
