I’ve noticed that the most successful writers on Medium also run their own podcast and/or YouTube Channel. That’s why they are so successful, because they realize that people absorb information in different ways. Some people are visual and so they love to watch YouTube videos and some people are more auditory and prefer to listen to information rather than viewing or reading it visually.
As content creators, we must be aware of this fact and recognize that in order to cast a wider audience net, we must be willing to reach our audience wherever they are, instead of paying for advertising to get them to try to find us.
