In recent days lots of things have happened, either in our private lives, worldwide, or in our country.

Later or soon in our lives, there will be a challenge, a challenge we knew about and that’s when we have 2 options:

  • Prepare
  • Improvise

Let’s put this into perspective, imagine you have an important job interview. You can prepare it to the last detail or procrastinate and at the interview you will improvise.

Each of the ways has its advantages and disadvantages

Preparing

  • Can take a lot of time —
  • Might not pay off well and it is gonna feel like a wasted time —
  • Highers your chances of succeeding +
  • Confidence +

Improvising

  • Stressful on day D —
  • Questions that are hard to answer may cost your career since you didn’t prepare —
  • Free time for fun activities +

So which strategy do you think is better?

Learn your speech, and be prepared for difficult questions

Or

Getting some comfortable rest, doing something fun, and when walking into the office betting on luck or your skills of improvising
