A few years ago, just after I stopped working permanently and started to take on my freelance and Entrepreneurial journey. My Aunt introduced me to Minimalism.

What perfect timing that was. Since I heard of it, I fell in love with it instantly and wanted to learn more about it. Then I started to implement it into my life. The amazing sense of peace that came with living with less and only focusing on the essential is mind blowing!

With my newfound amazing information, I went through two December holidays without feeling FOMO or the need to over consume.

We attach ourselves to material things so much because that is how we grew up. We think that our value comes from what we own, and it absolutely does not.

You can live a fulfilled life with the essentials and still be happy. When you live that way luxury stops being a necessity and becomes a reward.

“The greatest luxury is being free.” — Manolo Blahnik

The only elegance is in the mind; if you got that, the rest really comes from it.
