It’s not the scars on your body, or how much weight you can lift. It’s how much weight you can take, and how you responded to each scar that remains on you. The scars don’t tell a story, but they offer a reminder for the type of person who used to be, and is now a changed person because of it. The weight symbolizes how a person will react given a pressured time frame.
